Individually
locking cabinets all feature standard 19-inch rails, fully louvered
doors, louvered tops, a high powered fan, and a bottom ventilation
duct. This allows our servers to run in an optimal environment. |
 |
Every
cabinet is individually keyed to limit access to the equipment. |
 |
This
550CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) fan exhausts the warm air out of the
cabinet, and also pulls in the cooler conditioned air to keep all
equipment at an optimal operating temperature. |
 |
These
oversized air vents allow for the forced cooler conditioned air to
enter into the cabinet. This helps in keeping equipment running at
its best. |
 |
Every
cabinet is outfitted with a vertical power strip with 12 outlets. The
vertical power strip was preferred so that rack space would not be
compromised. |
 |
A
digital camera system was custom designed to monitor every entrance
into and out of the Co-location Facility, every hallway and every
cabinet. |
 |
In the
unlikely event of a power failure, the generator will power up within
the first few seconds, reinforcing the power from the UPS. With
refueling contracts, the generator can operate indefinitely. |
 |
Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) not only provide clean
conditioned power, but also power the equipment during the time
between an unlikely power outage and when the emergency generator
becomes active. |
 |
Backup
batteries power the UPSs so that in the unlikely event of a power
outage the servers will keep on running. |
 |
Power
Distribution Units (PDUs) supply the clean power from the UPSs to each
and every co-location cabinet. The PDUs monitor power usage and allow
each cabinet to be individually breakered. |
 |
Redundant HVAC units environmentally control the air temperature and
relative humidity in the Co-location Facility. Temperatures are kept to
optimum and cooled 24x7 to ensure smooth functioning of all
appliances. |
 |
A card
key system monitors and limits access to certain areas of the
Co-location Facility. Every entry and exit is monitored and logged down
for maximum security control. |
 |
Every
cabinet is seismically braced to meet and exceed the Universal
Building Code (UBC) through a series of various anchoring techniques. |
 |
12-inch
raised floors facilitate the cooling of the equipment with the use of
down flow air conditioning units. |
 |
The
ladder rack on top of every cabinet simplifies running connections to
and from equipment and because the cabling is so clean, upgrades,
cross connects, and troubleshooting happen a lot easier. |
 |
Raceways
simplify power cabling management. |
