Windows NT or Ubuntu?

The decision should be based on your ability to get drivers for the Dell running Ubuntu 7.04. Besides, other services that need to run running a web page could be problematical as well.
However, running Ubuntu does solve the spyware and virus crap.
Running Windows NT will be much easier to set up – however – I do not believe Microsoft has supported NT for quite a while.

If you are looking for a stable and secure Server, go with Ubuntu 7.04 The reason in my experience is Linux doesn’t have the crashing and hanging up problems associated with every thing Microsoft related. It’s just a much better system for Servers.
