Which type of web hosting service should you buy to host a LISTSERV?

If this is for school of business you should be able to use one of their computers. You are just setting up a mailing list. Most schools and large companies already have mailing lists; you just need to add a new one.

Otherwise what’s wrong with some of the free ones, like Yahoo! Groups, Google Groups?

If you really need to run the LISTSERV program, then you’ll need to find someone who’ll host it for you.
