What free Web host will allow .bat files?

Get a windows Virtual Private Server. It’s like having your own real server that someone else has to babysit the physical parts of. Then you can do whatever you want with it.

Otherwise, you’d have to ask the hosting company for special privileges. You want shell level access? Or a .bat (or vbscript) that runs as a scheduled task and you can edit…they might do it. I wouldn’t.

If you want cheap but not free try DreamHost.com with the promo/coupon code of LUCKY10 for $10 off any package. Put the .bat files in a .zip file! It will save you bandwidth and let it work.
