How Do I Disable “Port 80″ On Windows Vista?

Port 80 is the internet. HTTP is port 80. The message you got makes no sense. Maybe you need to login and allow third party cookies for that voting to work.

If you’re not running a Webserver, you’re running the IIS of Vista/XP:

Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > Turn Windows Features on and Off > Internet Information Services > Uncheck both Internet Information Services. This closes Port 80 server.
