Hello and welcome to my guide on how to make a Garry’s Mod server All Files apart from installer are on my website: www.fireplay.co.uk go on downloads and game servers then garrysmod and download the files needed First go to steampowered.com Then go on what is steam on the navigation bar at the top of the page Scroll down till you find the sub heading “Dedicated Server” click the link relivant to your computer Now save this program to your desktop and run it and follow the installation if unsure watch the video Now you have installed it go to the directory you installed it into and run the hldsupdatetool to get the new bootstrap version Create a shortcut of this file once you have downloaded the boot strap version Add the following line with a 1 space after the information all ready in there -command update -game garrysmod -dir C Now apply the changes Run this file to start the server installation Once completed You need to make a server loader now i have 2 avaliable first is the basic with no auto re-execute when crashes and advanced with the re execution if it gets crashed.
