This is an introductory to Microsoft Visual Studio for Silverlight development. Microsoft Visual Studio is a integrated development environment for creating applications based on Microsoft .NET framework. Web applications can be developed on it using ASP.NET or ASP.NET MVC. Desktop applications can be developed on it using WPF. Rich internet applications (RIAs) can be developed on it using Silverlight.
