    No there r some programs that need adobe.

    They’re not the same thing,you cannot view flash content with silverlight. Microsoft tried to push silverlight videos on the web but they haven’t succeed

    No, because even though Microsoft Silverlight is gaining usage, it’s still no substitute for Adobe Flash. Keep flash.
