i think your best bet for web graphics is flash video. Silverlight claim they have made something that works on mac pc and linux, but flash already does perfectly well, so why replace it? all of youtube, vimeo and google video is flash video! do what all the pros do and go flash i say!

i also need to know what it does. i recently got an internship and they want me to make a cover flow to navigate through the schools website, no one seems to know what this progam does though? is it the code to get it on the web in the flow format or is it where i make the graphics/pics and then import those into a seperate program??? How does expressions blend come into this? desperately wanting more help! Thanks!

STATE u need vista just to install microsoft silverlight?? we arnt all nerds who buy new computers that have vista on. im not paying £100
