Open My Computer, open the hard disk drive it’s saved on, and then Program Files. From there, click Microsoft Silverlight, and then click on the file entitled Microsoft Silverlight Configuration. It should pop up in a small window.

Go to Control Panel>System. Under the general tab, it should display the System and version. Silverlight is actually a re-branded version of Vista.
