    The problem could be that your PHP code (categories.php) isn’t returning proper XML, possibly due to a PHP error. Try opening categories.php in your browser. If you use Firefox, it should show that it’s XML.

    Have u used a debugger to go thru the code ? That will clear out a lot of the program problems for you …
