I am looking for an ASP.NET web hoster?

Its going to be hard to find something that is free if you want to play set it up on your computer with IIS. Other wise you can find many that are just a few dollars a month and offer all the languges you could ever want.

I m sorry to inform you but i had the same problem like you and i could not find a free web hosting provider for asp or asp2.0. I would suggest you that you subscribe in some company that hosts asp websites.

In some situations, some companies release free hosting packages incliding asp and asp 2.0 but you must be very lucky to find some offer like that becose as I heard they release only 5 to 10 free asp hosting per month.

Visual Web developer has it’s own web server so you can actually build and test web applications without a host. After that you can use your own computer as a host if you have IIS installed. IIS comes with XP Pro, but not XP Home edition. You’re not going to find anyone to host your ASP websites for free. I’ve used Gate (www.gate.com) before. I haven’t look lately, but at the time they were the best priced ASP hosting I found.
