Lots of anti virus software will do that. They are not meant to be run in conjuction with each other.
If you have installed Norton on your machine, that will be why it is slow!! That software is worse than any trojan or spyware.
These days a virus is more likely to take control of your intenet conection and start spamming people from your email address, rather that just run slow or do annoying things to you. People have learned how virii can make them money now, so this is more likely the case.
In short. Get rid of Norton!! Never use it. Do all your windows updates! and learn which sites are likely to be unfriendly, and dont try to download free porn !! Be aware of which items on limewire are fake.
These days, there is almost nothing that can get you if you dont chose to run it.
Another good tip is to never use internet explorer. Go with Firefox or Chrome.
Hope this helps
Your computuer might be attacked by Trojan or .Vbs files which hackers used to steal your passwords, credit card info, you name it.. Dont worry bout future hack.. They dont do it again once if you change your passwords..
You only need to have ONE antivirus engine on your computer. If you have more than one, it causes complications. They may detect each other as a virus, they may lock up your computer completely, as well as cause errors with the registry.
As far as your problem goes, delete all of those AV’s except one, and then try running it.
well, you’ve got an improvised virus script installed in PC. better go to format it to lowest OS which is WIN98 then go format it again to WINXP, and so on…
that way all registries will be fix. also don’t forget to install an antivirus program in your PC to make it more clear.
You’ve tried just about every scanner out there and found nothing. If you are sure you are infected, then you probably have a rootkit on there. Get the free anti-rootkit tool called gmer. It’s really for advanced users so be careful not to remove anything it finds intill you are sure the item is bad.
Why bother with this crushing burden of constant worry and paranoia?
Take Windows off the ‘Net, and add Linux (as a dual boot) for that aspect.
Not completely worry free, but it’s more like wearing camo when everyone else wears Hawaiian bullseye shirts…stay under the radar.
