What is decent inexpensive hosting company?

i use a virtual server on godaddy.com for 15 bucks a month. you can Ftp to your spot on the server or you can use their GUI. its a virtual shared server (not a dedicated box just for you so there is no telnet/ssh in there) But for 15 bucks you cannot beat it.

OK, from what you say, you want something for nothing. No can do. I suggest an alternative, http://www.freewebs.com as they can provide what you want for free. Maybe. The price you will pay is ads on your pages.
