when i type cd/srcds in there it says it could not find the path or something
wow mines already at 11% just clicked enter, this should take no more then around 30 min
for everyone that does the update stuff and it does the installation, u probably have a newer hldsupdatetool so goto C:Program Files (x86 if u have 64-bit) ValveHLServer and take those files and put them in C:srcds then do the updating

everytime i do the hldsupdate command update -game “Counter-strike source” -dir C:/srcds it just installs it again?
every time I press the SRCDS it will only produce a INSTALLER window

…is already running even though I can’t find a way to quite out of it, even using the Ctrl Alt Delete menu. So I just reinstalled it in the location it did at first (It didn’t prompt about the tool already running this time) and changed the file path. Please help!
Whenever I get to the “hldsupdatetool -command update -game “Counter-Strike Source” -dir C:srcds” part and hit enter it just opens up the setup again. This might have something to do with the fact that I forgot to change the install path the first time I installed it so it placed it in C:Program Files (x86)ValveHLServer. I tried to uninstall it so and reinstall it in the new location (The one you specified) but when I click install it tells me that it has detected that the tool…..

Take out the spaces.
THIS FILE: It is a download which sets up steam game servers automatically. It uses an svn and it gives your server an admin mod, just choose which game and hit Install Server.
