when i create a server i let my friends join but they said server not responding REPLY ME PLEASE

You can still make a server in the tf2 menu “create server”, make a password for it, sv_lan 0, heartbeat. You could do that only if you dont have the same error I keep getting when my friend tries to connect to my server, “Connection failed after 4 retries” and vice versa.

I’ve completed all the steps, now how do I play in my server with friends? Whenever I try to join my server, I receive a message marked, “Failed to allocate ip address.” Any suggestions?

Can you get more then 32 players?

@kjulo88 You can update your server,simply by running the same commands eveytime valve releases an update.I mean

cd c:program filesvalvehlserver

hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game tf -dir c:tf2server

hmm, seems to work only in linux servers,
try this then
open cmd and type in
cd C:srcds //Where you instaled ur hldsupdatetool
then
hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game tf -dir C:srcds //Where you instaled srcds// -verify_all
It may take some time, but it will update
For secure it downloaded all just run that command above twice
