I love that this game is so awesome, when you consider its price tag. But I never can get very far. I lag so badly that I die in every mission. The game will make that clippy noise, and then my character will be left standing there for like ten full seconds until i get moving again…it sucks. Maybe the aforementioned patch isn’t too far off.

When I open up the game, it shows the game screen when it starts, but then it exits out of the game and deletes the game window, how do I fix that?

um hello im currently having trouble with the game right now, the game currently goes into a somewhat black state where mostly every thing is outlined in black but you can sort of tell where everything is ive also turned down all my settings to the minimum along with turning off most of the other advanced settings so it can play however it didnt fix the problem it kinda just made everything get an orange hue to it so now everything is black but with an orange hue so it makes shapes, help me thx

Uhmmmmmm I downloaded this recently BUT!!!!!! When i try load it the screen goes to Alien Swarm and stopts there and loads a bit before going to a black screen… DAH FU!

For those people suffering from random bouts of ‘lag’, I found that Own3rPL’s suggestion of turning off multi-core rendering fixed it perfectly. It’s in the advanced video settings, iirc.

when i play the game it freezes randamly i could move the mouse but nothing else sometimes black screen plz help me

well its a new game and the elevator thing always lags for ppl

it is happening here too! I thought it was my internet but I have 10 mb! Should run smooth, my guess is incompatible, I use windows 7 x64, I hope they resolve this because the game is very good!

Im telling you I could almost finish the game but I had freezing problems and the enemies kept killing me and wtf
