Ok, i just looked online and i found something … it seems that there is no layout menu to begin with in VS2008 Visual Web Developer…they changed things in VS2008
Here, search online by: “Does the layout option menu exist as default in Visual Studio 2008″
So that might be an indication that things changed in the menues in the 2008 edition…search about this subject online and in MSDN you’ll find your answer.
Yes, you’re right the video was done with Express edition but i meant I have on my machine VS2005 Professional edition installed, and i get that template menu naturally without installing any ads-on
It looked like the video was made using Express Edition. I have used express and VS Team Edition both 2008 without seeing the table templates… rats.
I believe what you’re refering too is in 2:23 , right?
No, it’s not an add-on, I am not sure why you don’t have it. It could be the edition you’re using.
This video was made using Visual Web Developer 2005 Professional Edition, however it’s exactly the same environment as Visual Studio 2005…the only reason i can think of is that you are not using the right edition…check to see if it’s Express edition or Professional or what?
I hope that was helpful.
Hi, in the video you have templates under the tables menu. This is not in my install of VS2008 Web is it a specific add in?
