@Zoom1177 could you please send me the code aswel? been trying my best to work it out but no having much luck…
I am stuck on 7:58. When I followed the instructions and debug the program, it treats it as if I was logged on already. How do I go about fixing that?
Ok, i believe you are referring to 4:52. This is to check who is logged in and assign him the rights that has been giving in Web/site configuration tool (ex: is he admin or not, roles and allowed and denied rights) I am sending you an email with the code, as i can’t do it here due to Comments character limits.
Which minute exactly on the video are you refering to?
For your second question: no this particular video is not mine (as i mentioned below) but some of the tutorials in my channel is mine.
Part2: in google search by : “how to add nt authority network service” You’ll get the first result is an MSDN link/article, very useful. read it and it will help explain all to you. Good luck.
Part1: It is stored in a database on either SQL Express or SQL Server. If you use SQL Express then it’s done for you automatically. If you use SQL Server 2005 then you’ll need to do some extra steps. First you need to add in SQL SEver under Security/Logins: [yourmachineASPNET] & [NT AUTHORITYNETWORK SERVICE]
Run “aspnet_regsql” file in the framework directory to add users/roles ..etc to the appropriate database. You might need to search it online for more details but that’s a start.
Why hand code in the source view when you can drag and drop the controls in the design view? Confusing for the learners.
It’s not really my videos(written on video part 1), but thank you anyway
Impressive
. I hope that I will be as good as you. Thanks, enjoying this tutorial to the max!!!
